There are times when things get serious and go out of hand. That’s when bodies like Indian Motion Pictures and Producers Association (IMPPA) come into the picture. PNC filed a case with IMPPA against Sunny Deol as he failed to return the signing amount of Rs 50 lakhs, for the film Aayega.
Ram Kamal Mukherjee, Vice President of PNC, said, “The Sunny Deol complaint is a standard industry one that we have lodged with the IMPPA. We would like to leave it with IMPPA, who are a very fair body to handle, find a solution, and resolve this situation for us. All we want is closure and an amicable refund of our money from Mr Deol.”
Apparently, Aayega failed to take off due to reasons unknown. After which, PNC showed a couple of scripts to Sunny, which he didn’t quite approve of. And since then, Sunny is reportedly not been communicating with PNC.
Since Sunny is not in India, we spoke to his publicist Vijay Grover who refused to comment on the issue
